GASS legs, or more simply known as ‘legs’, prop up pans that help for each floor of a building being built.
They help take the weight of all the above materials until concrete that makes up the floor is poured.

This image shows the legs in use. They prop up the pans above. Once the floor above is made, these props get taken away, providing a permit to strike has been issued.
