Pans lay on top of props called gas legs to form a deck. Steel re-bar gets formed on the deck, then concrete gets poured on, which forms a slab.
This slab becomes a floor on each level of the building.
There are two main brands of pans on construction sites. Peri and Doka. The pans featured here are Peri pans.
Once the slab is concreted and the concrete has cured, the pans get struck from underneath, then cleaned and stored, or used further up the building.
