Shutter

Shutters form moulds for pouring concrete inside. There are lots of different styles of shuttering. The main ones that get used on construction sites put together with either plywood or metal sections that get clamped together.

The most commonly used of the latter version are Doka and Peri panels.

Shutters can be lifted in bulk by stacking on top of each other and double wrapping. But to place in and out of position, they get lifted on end.

Once the concrete has cured, the shutters get struck, and either stored for future use or broken down into the smaller pieces.
