Concrete skips get used to pour concrete using cranes. The skip gets laid down so that a concrete lorry can reverse up to the opening to pour the concrete in. Then a crane will lift the skip up to wherever needs the concrete.
Once there, someone will pull a rope that’s attached to an opening mechanism. This sends the concrete down a shoot.
