Toolboxes store tools and sometimes small materials for site workers. Each contractor on site usually has a compound where they store their equipment. The tool boxes get stationed there. But can get moved around to wherever needed.
Toolboxes don’t have lifting eyes, but do have wheels. So, they can be pushed around on level surfaces. If they’re needed to be relocated far or high, they get slung with slings, and lifted with cranes.
Because they have slots underneath for slings to feed through, toolboxes don’t have to be double wrapped, because the slots prevent the load from slipping or tipping out of the slings.
