Formwork clamps get used to lift formwork shuttering. They clamp onto the shuttering using either a spring mechanism or pin mechanism, depending on the style and lifting capacity.
There are two main companies in the UK that provide formwork. DOKA and PERI. DOKA lifting clamps won’t fit onto PERI shuttering, and vice versa.
Some clamps have small chains attached, with a ring on the end that the crane’s lifting chains hook to. Others have an O-ring that is attached directly to the clamp.
